    Re: Mike's Toyota

Those are the Axial hubs. They were like $4 or something. I had to trim them a little to get them to fit in the Hummer wheel well, but it works. They thread on to the extra threads on the stub shaft, so we'll see how long they last.

And Thanks. I got a driver today, but I'm not sure he's going to work. After I get one in, I can reassemble the dash, add the steering wheel and finish the bumpers.

mike it looks amazing. very well thought out.

the combination of the flash and color make those wheels look like something off a WWII german tank lol.

    Re: Mike's Toyota

The tires have enough grip that I got one bound up on that rock pile and snapped an axial universal pin. I really like them. I think RC4WD is finally getting closer to a real usable compound.

The gray is a Tamiya military gray, so that makes perfect sense!

And thanks. There are certainly things that could be better about the truck, but so far the combo seems to work well together. A few minor tweaks and I will be ready for tomorrow morning!!

yeah RC4WD has come along way. in products, price, and development time.
    haha thats classic.
well it looks great. btw for the taillights a red sharpie marked on the inside give a nice semi transperent red, if you dont have any translusent paint.

amen, i doubt ill sleep tonight lol. stareing at the clouds and watching the weather channel lol.
headed out to the comp site now to get the course set up and to test the bridges ;)

I got them all painted up, with transparent red and yellow. Got LEDs in them, front and rear. Should be a good day tomorrow. Looking forward to it, for sure!!
