    Shcuck's scx10 build

So I wanted to start a thread that would serve as a progress log and at the same time share The Good, The Bad and The What Was I Thinking. Hehehe

With this I will start with how the truck looked stock and will take it from there.

Comments and ideas are more than welcome.

After "The Ice Incident" the honcho chapter came to an end.

A block of ice found it's way to land right on top of the Honcho. :-(

After some shoe goo, fiberglass tape and some decals, the Honcho is revived...... But will never be the same.

Here are some pics of the inside.

I put the tekin fxr in this little contraption to make it waterproof and at the same time have access to reprogram on the fly.

    Looks good.

How did you seal the "little contraption"?

It is basically the balloon method with the plastic container on the other end secured with 2 zip ties. I also used some dielectric grease as extra protection.

Let me know if you need extra pics.

Yes a plastic jar with the bottom cut out and a balloon attached to the bottom to pass the wires through. I thought about just drilling a hole on the bottom of the jar but then I would have to worry about sealing it. So this way it gives you more flexibility on the fly.
