I don't. Do you want to sell your Rock Stomper? If so, I can pick it up on Sunday. For a spare, I was just planning on a black NASCAR wheel from HPI. Don't have one of those yet, either. :Shaking:

    Re: Tommy's Scaler Build

Today I entered it in its first scale comp. I was very pleased with its performance. 2nd place overall and one of only three rigs to complete the course, out of 8. No one can say this thing is a shelf queen!!

It's got more dirt on it than its big brother!

    Sweet build Tommy.

How does it handle with the spare and the hard body top? My FJ feels real top heavy and its lexan.

    Re: Tommy's Scaler Build

Mike, it actually does pretty well. Adding the spare tire definitely hurt, though. It not only added a lot of rear weight, but it's pretty high, too. Fortunately, every bit of electronics is mounted in front of the motor and I even added lead to the front of the chassis to get the balance back closer to what it was. I'm sure it would perform better with a lexan body, but that's just not going to happen with this rig.

All that being said, it does descend better now with all the rear weight....and that was pretty key on yesterday's course, which had lots of steep descents. I also added weight to my front wheels. I may add more and also may add weight to the rear wheels, too.
