    cc-01

So, what do you guys think about the performance of the cc-01 chassis? Thinking about running this chassis on the LR3 for a more scale look. Atleast it will have front IFS(alittle more scale) and the track width is right will be able to get the tire too tuck into the fender like it should. I found a pic of someone else who is working on the same setup.
This is not my truck, It belongs to a rccrawler member.
Don't fix it if it's not broke. Now thats just stupid...

As long as you accept the limitations of the chassis, they are a LOT of fun to drive. If you expect it to drive like a tlt axled rig, you may be disappointed. I liked mine and regretted selling it to Cory after the fact. CVD's for the front are sometimes hard to find but worth it. A little bit of dremel shaving on the front IFS will give you a little more droop and better overall articulation and then redoing the rear 4 link will make vast improvements there too.

Yea, I think I will get the cc-01 jeep use the chassis with the lr3 as more of a trail rig and the jeep body on the scx setup for a rugged comp rig.

Here's a video of mine. This is before 1.9 tires were readily available everywhere. These are the hard ass "Flywheels" and they worked, but you can imagine with soft sticky tires how much better she would have handled. Fun trail truck for sure...
