What batt size are you running and how many did you run . After looking at the map its close to my house . I would like to crawl with others. I keep going to Mike's hobbies and never see anyone .

Lipos are the only way to go. I run 2600mah 3s lipos. each lasts about an hour and a half on my Wraith.

Yea - Arbor HIlls is huge and there are some nice hill climbs.

Most of us do not make it out to Mikes Hobby shop. Tough for a 1.9 scaler - better if u have a 2.2 comp crawler.

I used three 5000 mah ni-mh batt and could have used few more . Was great place . Drove few trails and Rocky spot in creek . Where is best area there . I live at midway and frankford so think ill be there often. Mikes would be better suited for my redcat rockslide than my scx10 has been fun getting looks and questions from people with thousands in rc race trucks and cars . Wanting to know about scale trucks.

Post up the day before you plan to go out - someone can usually get out there to run with you.

You coming out Sunday??

That should be way more than enough. Are they LIPOs or Nimh?

EDIT: Ah. I see they are Nimh. Might want to think about changing to Lipo. 2 - 4000mah lipos should last you all day.

Don't know what your schedule is like snowbikebear, but I'll probably be taking my MRC to Mike's today during lunch to break in my new Proline Chisels. After installing my new Dark Soul beadlocks and Losi metal lockers in the front and center lockers, I've raealized that new tires aren't all that great at first. So I'm going to go beat the hell out of them if I can to get them worn in some.

I'll probably be there somewhere around 12:15ish if you're interested.

No worries. I ended up playing for about 15-20 minutes before grenading the locker in my rear axle. Knew it would happen sicne I just replaced the front and center ones. Somehow, though, I snapped a ballend on my lower left front link. So I'm out of commission until I get a new metal locker. I think I have ballends at home that should fit my lower links.

Whats the price to wheel at Mikes?

The couple times I've been crawling there - I just headed to the rocks and did not pay anything.

I think it is $5 if you wanna go by the rules - but that is mainly aimed at the off road and carpet track.

Brett - buy on rctech.com has a mrc pro including brushless motor and esc for $110 shipped. Hell of a deal.
Sell yours for like $65+ !!

Yep, it's free. I go to Mike's and run my sc truck on the indoor dirt track. I seem to either break or feel the need to upgrade something, so Mike makes a profit of of me for sure at the hobby shop.

Back in the OLD OLD days - before 2.4ghz radios. You would have to go into Mike's and rent the clip with your freq channel on it. Hence the $5.
