While my new body is the paint shop getting some fersh paint from JWalker, I decided to play around with some door options with an old mock up body.

I am partial to option 1 more than any, but here they are so you can see how it looks with all options "thumbsup"

Read my thoughts on RCC...

i chose for him, he is going to go with a half door look. i am going to trim the door on the body line right above the handle and curve it right aboe the top door hinge. i win, hurray, lol.

Your FJ looks really good. I love the rear tire carrier. Did it help or hurt on steep inclines? Nice video also.

Its pretty heavy in the rear and the front end wants to lift on steep climbs. But I got some things that should help even out the weight.

Is the rear of the body dove tailed a bit? I noticed it seems to have an overlap seam on the rear.

Yes I narrowed the rear so that it is the same width as the front end. After cutting the front fenders off, the rear was much wider then the front and looked weird.

Cool. The rear spare covers it nicely.

Yeah, I have seats and everything for it, I just need to figure out the trans. Either way the spur gear will be showing I think, but we'll see what I can come up with.
