ok we all know what a ax10 build looks like so i won't post up pics of that. it's the standard ax10 with all stainless hardware. i will however post a pic of how it was sent off to R2j Kustoms to get the tube work done.

first up for the build was body work.

i went ahead and added the cab back..

and since i do plan on having an interior i fabbed up a home made sawzall and trimmed the doors.

i'm not running any "glass" and i'm not gonna spend alot of time with the cab since i'm planning on having fun with it when it's done.

that's it for know.

here's what i'm working on now.

http://www.compprocrawlers.com/albums/album96/DSC03555.sized.jpg

the pic shows the dash plate that R2j made for me, seats from team3six, and a floor plate with 4 risers that i fabbed up my self.

the plate was tricky to get right but some a file and some patients i'm pleased on how it came out.

well, one step closer... it's a runner now. with every build there's always the dreaded wire job. i did what i could to make it look as clean as possible.

alright, since i had wired up the rig with a winch and my bumper won't be here for a few days i went ahead and made a temporary mount. it's not the strongest but it will hold the winch fine till the bumper comes in..

very easy mount.

two servo posts and a cupple of screws later i havd a mount. 8)

update!

didn't want to do it but i had to so it would fit..

team3six's powertanks are the best scale tanks period. my issue was the size for where i wanted it mounted. so out came the dremel and i to cut into the powder coated tank

i shortened it by 1"

BOWTIE

thanks guys! this is one of those trucks that i had wanted for a long time. ever since i saw i believe it was rckjeep truggy on rcc a fews years ago i wanted something similar. then comp rigs took priorities so the scaler build took a back seat.

since i had some down time and can't compete i figured it was the perfect time to build and here you have it.
