    Frostman's Wraith "Rock Punisher"

    Hey all!

I am new to the scaler/crawler world, and I am starting out with my Wraith kit build. I have been into RC for over a year, and I have several bashers that I have built up, but they are all brushless, fast, high flyers, and I wanted to change things up a bit. (Thunder Tiger MT4 G3 Franken Bug, Savage XS SS Kit, and a Slash 2wd Baja Bug that my oldest son has commandeered) I had a lot of fun with my Wraith build and have a lot more planned for it.

Here is what I have so far.

    Electronics:
Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster Pro 35T Motor
    Holmes Hobbies BRXL ESC
Flysky FS-GT3B (I just got another RX for it, I am already running it with my Savage XS SS)
Solar D772 Servo w/ clamp on metal servo horn (Until it pops smoke then I am putting in a 1230sg Savox)
    Axial Light Kit
    Battery: 3S 4400mah 30 Sky Lipo

    Transmission and Gears:
    Robinson Racing Steel Idler
    Robinson Racing Diff Locker Gear
    32P 60T Kimbrough Spur
    12T RR 32P Pinion

    Chassis and Suspension:
    CKRC Suspension Lowering Kit
    CKRC Front Battery Tray
    CKRC Hood Hinge Kit
    RC4wd Steering Kit
    STRC Shock Caps (Orange)
Delrin rear deck (going to add some scale goodies eventually)

    Here she is:

I front mounted the ESC and battery.

And I rear mounted the RX and light controller in a Radio Shack project box.

I closed the gap at the rear of the chassis because it looked unfinished.

And I made a cardboard template and cut a rear deck out of some delrin I had from another project.

Right now with the lowering kit from CKRC and .9lb/in springs, 3 large hole pistons, and 30wt oil I am getting pretty good flex.

I already have some Mayhem Engineering Slamerz on order, both to have the beadlocks and add more weight down low. And I am getting the Axial light bar and lights because I want more light for messing around at night which is about the only free time I have these days. Along with that there are a few other things I would like to add. Some soon, some later, its a progression like any of my other RC's.

Hope you guys like it. I had a hell of a lot of fun building it.
