Steve / Ric.

Takes me 3.5 hours to get there so I may not get there on time (am I ever on time anyway?)

I'll do my best to get there as early as I can BUT here are some links to the score sheets & tech sheets I made tonight:

http://www.sorrca.com/Score-Sheet.pdf
http://www.sorrca.com/Tech-Sheet.pdf

Yall may want to print some up (along with the rules).

Actually, some old fart trail guide kicked us out at about 11am so we ended up going to Cibolo. Didnt actually start the comp till about noon or so I think.

There should be alot of good pics coming.

Scores

Scale points
(name & class)
Cory 2: -28
Hugo 2: -45
Hugo 3: -33
Patrick 1: -52
Scott 2: -31
Steve 2: -37
Ric 2: -46

Course 1
Cory: 41
Hugo 2: 21
Hugo 3:-12
Patrick: -10
Scott: (DNS)
Steve: -4
Ric: 10

Course 2
Cory: 0
Hugo 2: 21
Hugo 3: (DNS)
Patrick: -15
Scott: (DNS)
Steve: -22
Ric: 0

Totals:
Class 1
Patrick: -77

Class 2
Steve: -63
Ric: -36
Hugo: -3
Cory: 13
Scott (DNS)

Class 3
Hugo: *102 (-12+130-16)

*DNS is supposed to be 50+point out (80 on these courses) and then no scale points for that course so 130. :eek2:

DNF would only be point out +20 but you do get scale points and progress points. So if you are ever in a comp it pays to at least start the course and try, even if your truck is broken as crap. Doesn't really matter here since we are not running a series or for money but I wanted to point it out to yall.

It looks like everyone was on 1.9 and Iroks except for the dude with the gnarly Taco tuber on 2.2 Baja Claws. What works best at Cibolo Creek?

Yeah I found those pics shortly after, some sweet times been had there! :cool2:

As of right now, I'm out of commission :pissed:
The auto-centering piece that broke on my steering wheel was an easy fix. But soon after I noticed the TX wouldnt power on. I then found the culprit...the white wire on the red/black/white 3 pin to 3 pin wire from the batteries to the mother board (CH1) came loose. I tried to fix it now its just too mutilated to fix. Anyone know where I can get that wire (5-6") already made? i emailed Axial, but I wont get anything from them if I do, until way after this weekend!!! :brickwall:

Try Hobbytown. They have all kinds of 3-pin extension cords.

I was on RC4WD Mud Thrashers to fit in class 1 but if I was going to run in class 2 I would run Proline TSLs.

I am heavily leaning toward the Proline TSLs if I buy new meats before the Pit Bulls come out. But the sheer size of the Baja Claws is tempting. I'll probably be building for Class 2 though.

For Class 1 couldn't you have used Flat Irons? Those Mud Thrashers are under 4" and I believe the Flat Irons fit into Class 1 with a height of 4.19".

The flat irons are actually listed on the prolong website as 4.2 and they are not class one legal.

Flashpoints are the biggest tire I have seen for class 1 but they look too much like tractor tires.

The mud thrashers are a bit shorter but they fit the build style and work pretty dam well IMO.
